The Goldsmith Winter Festival for 2021 due to take place on Friday Nov 19th has been postponed to a future date. This due to recent Govt advice regarding meetings and gatherings.

The results of the 2021 Goldsmith Festival Poetry competition are now available here. Thanks to everyone who has entered. Please join us at “Poetry at Pallas” on Sunday Sept. 19th at 3.00pm.

Details of the location are below.  The event will include the winning and highly commended poets reading their successful entries, reading and critique by Noel Monahan and some musical interludes.
Pallas is the birthplace of Oliver Goldsmith and is accessible off the R392 Ballymahon to Mullingar road, very close to the new Longford Forest Center Parcs development.
